I had to get even closer to these bubbles... which also took me closer to the tiny blooms on the beautiful lavender bush. Lavender bushes are unmistakeable, and in mass, breathtaking so, when I see them I have to stop and photograph them! Photographed May 9, 2018 at the round-about in Amherst off of highway 60, Virginia (Blue Ridge Mountains). Planted by the Village Garden Club of Amherst, I merely stopped to admire and capture what I saw so I might share with others this cultivated beauty. Born and raised in Florida, Spring was like a myth people talked about, even believed in, but I had never seen. Now I don’t just see spring, I capture it’s beauty to hold on to forever, without picking the flowers! Still, photos will never do the majesty of seeing it with your own eyes, justice, and yet I try anyway. I hope you enjoy!
