If you want to help bring back our (USA/EU) pollinators, this one plant (the common milkweed) is a wonderful habitat and nutrients source for our pollinators! It is one of those plants that will take until it's second year to bloom so familiarize yourself with the leaves and let it be if you see one growing in your lawn! (NOTE: The beetle shown will eat the leaves and destroy the plant if they arrive enmass so inspect your plant regularly. Ask if you want specific tips for controlling these guys.) Photo taken outside my studio in Monroe, Virginia, USA on June 26, 2018. Namaste!
