"This is a re-envisioned version of a former piece 'Balance' sold in a private auction, which focused on the balance within a woman like the seasons and tides. This piece features a man in place of the solar lady, and only one of the entwined timbers in each set supports branches, which asked for leaves. Likewise, the non-branched timbers do not reflect the opposite color, but the color of the light source they stand beside. Too, this piece is meant to be hung either as shown, or flipped upside-down the other way. The ladder is a copper metallic that glows iridescent blue on the moon side, and gold on the sun side. Similarly, the yellow glow on the lunar lady shines gold in the right light, while the white in the lunar man shines iridescent blue. WE Balance ME is a light friendly piece." -M.E.
