"Some Painters like to plan. They sketch and design a thoroughly thought-out idea before their pigment ever touches the canvas. I'm not like them. I prefer to dip my brush in the paint -be it whatever color I have left, or whichever I'm drawn to in that moment- and impulsively let it coat the canvas.
